Educational Service

In the World of Discoveries, students and teachers embark on an immersive journey through the History of Portugal. Here it becomes tangible to sharpen curiosity and stimulate learning.

We encourage students to reflect on the cultures and discoveries discovered by Portuguese navigators. Interactive activities and teaching resources aim to promote the importance of preserving historical and cultural heritage.

The World of Discoveries is a unique educational platform that connects the past to the present.

Is there parking for the buses?

Although we can’t recommend parking spaces, we do recommend that the buses stop temporarily at Largo da Alfândega so that passengers can get off safely, without affecting traffic on Rua Nova da Alfândega (the street through which you can access the World of Discoveries reception).

We recommend that groups plan for a meal either before or after the visit, as picnics are only allowed outside the premises and cannot interfere with the scheduled visit time.
